About the Image(s)
We were away in Scotland last week staying in a rented cottage and this was the view from the rear of the cottage. That is the Atlantic Ocean in the bay. The cottage is on the island of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. These islands are off the north west coast of Scotland nearly at the top. It was 520 miles from home and a two-hour ferry ride from the Inner Hebrides to the Outer Hebrides. Taken on the 22nd May as a sequential on my D850 1/400th at f11 with a focal length of 24mm

I like the clouds, mountains, hills and sand. The tide must have been way low. I rather think the back yard stuff (rocks, wire fence, red board and white thing) are a little distracting from a great landscape/seascape view.   Posted: 06/04/2021 14:04:55

beautiful scene. not much stereo to it, would need a much broader interocular distance to bring it out.   Posted: 06/04/2021 16:38:17
Brian, the thing that makes this image for me is the sky. However, I agree with David, the red object and other misc things in the foreground are distracting.   Posted: 06/11/2021 11:24:04

The reason for including the foreground was to show the location of the property in connection with the Atlantic Ocean which that is, ie just over the water from the USA   Posted: 06/17/2021 11:43:30

Beautiful landscape image. I think the image needs a larger stereo base as most of the background looks flat. Part of the distractions in the foreground can be trimmed out. A little shadow adjustment in foreground will more details. Nice location.   Posted: 06/21/2021 11:33:16
