About the Image(s)
In this month’s submission, I wanted to include Version 2, trying to turn it into a kind of showcase! I guess I’ve succeeded in my attempt, but will await comments / feedback from fellow members.
Workflow: B&W was done by simultaneously applying Nik’s Fine Art Filter … followed by ‘Street Hint Blue’ preset at reduced Opacity from Silver Efex Pro3. Adjusted brightness and contrast using curves. Finally added some vignetting and a thin border.

Hi Palli,
This might make a wonderful book cover (original 2) for your presentation of "The Magical Effects of Infrared". I like it for what it is, a simple depiction of the side yard of a home site with a large tree overflowing with green leaves. There's not a lot of impact or dramatic presentation, but for the right purpose, it works.   Posted: 05/01/2023 09:12:11

Nice work with a mundane scene. I like your concentration on the tree, leaving the house and fence to frame the scene. Good overall handling.   Posted: 05/04/2023 14:43:37
Thank you, Gary and Arik.   Posted: 05/05/2023 05:10:33
Palli, you have made an ordinary scene quite beautiful. I sometimes wonder about photography's role in creating unrealistic expectations of elegance and beauty, and as a consequence, we walk by not noticing how lovely the tree near the driveway can be. Thanks for the reminder.   Posted: 05/05/2023 20:27:29
Hi Palli,
Your processing here is superb. I want to be there, even though it is just an ordinary scene. Both versions are great. Well done.   Posted: 05/07/2023 11:42:31

I concur with the others. Excellent process really gave life to this image. I like it a lot.   Posted: 05/07/2023 15:48:53
Thanks Charles, Melanie and Henry for the feedback ... which is much appreciated.   Posted: 05/08/2023 00:20:50
This tree and your processing really does give it the feeling of a veil, Palli. As the others have said, nicely done.   Posted: 05/09/2023 00:46:01

Palli
Your image this month and its title are a perfect match, the leaves hang down from the tree in the mid ground as if it is covered by a white veil.
Well done and as Charles noted sometimes the common place scenes can be the most pleasing when shot in IR.
