About the Image(s)

Occasionally you get to witness unusual formation of clouds, which leads to good composition. I think I’ve succeeded in doing so!
About the Image
After converting RAW file into B&W using Nik’s Silver Efex Pro, I extended the canvas marginally on the right. Then adjusted brightness, contrast and tones. Finally added some blue tone to give it a kind of night effect.

Hi Palli,

Well seen! I believe I see a) a rabbit, b) a turtle's head or c) something else the mind conjures up! This is tranquil and relaxing. It's simple and effective.   Posted: 08/02/2022 07:56:53

Hi Palli. Nicely seen and captured cloud abstract. I like the softness of the clouds, not making them grungy. Good handling of the tones, not losing highlight or shadow details. Simple and interesting image.

Hi Palli,
I applaud you for showing us something that is just so simple. I always enjoy looking at cloud formations. There is devil sitting on my shoulder though - from one of our regular judges at our camera club. He would ask " where is the hero in this image?' In other words, where do you want my eye to rest? Even so, I have enjoyed it.   Posted: 08/02/2022 13:49:55

Even without getting into, what shapes or objects one might detect in the clouds, I find it's enjoyable just for the sense of mood it conveys, the whimsey of a sky like this on a spring day. Very nice, Palli.   Posted: 08/02/2022 14:50:53

I applaud you for posting just "puffy" clouds this month. I always look at clouds and take a few shots of the interesting formations for the record.

They are relaxing, ever changing, therapeutic...the list is endless
