About the Image(s)
This is one of the first successful images using my IPhone as an IR camera with a 720nm filter. The challenge was learning how to use the camera software which finally “clicked” during a webinar hosted by Rad Drew. This approach may or may not achieve rave results but I love the convenience and the tools will only get better.
Equipment purchased to get IR capability Moment case and lens mount, lens mount and a 52mm 720nm filter prescribed by Rad Drew. For details join his FaceBook group: OpenGroup!Infrared on the IPhone.
Workflow: I transferred the IPhone image to my IMac and then rendered it into in BW using Silver Efex. I used the LR Classic radial filter to burn the sky in particular.
Shot with IPhone 13 Pro using Camera+2 software 30 sec exposure (per Rad’s process) using a small tripod. White Balance set to 1400 K. Wide Lens. I plan to look at 10 and 20 sec exposure to see how they look

My congratulations too, for acquiring the new toy! And, what a fabulous shot you've taken, yielding excellent composition. Couldn't agree with you more regarding the convenience it offers. Thanks for sharing your views on the use of IPhone.

Rad's a friend of mine and has done some fantastic things with the iPhones. This is no exception. I like it very much. As you know by now, I'm more of a higher contrast/pure whites kind of IR photographer, so I felt compelled to play with your image. See what you think...Detail Extractor applied to only there forested area, levels and curves adjusted for a bit more punch. Note I cropped out some of the foreground roadway.   Posted: 06/02/2022 10:48:23
You start with a great composition. There is a flatness and I believe that there is lovely light within the trees which you can find and will give the contrast that is missing. Hope we see more IPhone IR from you.   Posted: 06/08/2022 09:12:03
