About the Image(s)

We saw this from a dense tree lined mountain road. We could not see any route that would get us any closer. It was difficult to find a clear view, so I have tried to frame with the close, low hanging leaves.
Converted with life pixel action. In Color Efex I used Tonal contrast, Glamor glow, Graduated filter and a slight amount of high key. converted to black and white and removed some noise.

I really like this shot. The framing of the farm by the leaves, although a necessity in the field, works nicely. I like the contrast in the field created by the stakes, amazing detail. The structure adds the dark tones to offset the grass. I think we all would have liked to take this shot with you

Hi Melanie
Beautifully captured, composed and processed. I like glimpses of highlights which take the eye into the distance. Well done!

Hi Melanie...
Wow! Subject and post processing make this one of the finest images I've seen of yours! Having said that, I wonder if you might consider the cropped version I'm attaching. To my eye, it offers better balance to the large are of white in the lower rh 25% of the image.   Posted: 10/03/2021 18:39:48

Where was this taken, Melanie? It looks like a vineyard, or a farm of some kind, and with the foliage framing makes for a lovely pastoral scene. Great sense of mood evoked.

Side note, I love the orange sky and rooftop in the original, but that's another image,   Posted: 10/03/2021 20:26:39

Very nicely done. I have no suggestions. I like the extra area in the bottom. With the frame it leads you into the scene.   Posted: 10/03/2021 21:00:55

Melanie, I like the way you used the leaves to frame in the barn and give the image depth. In the orginal, light reflects off the roof of the barn, which draws the viewer's eye to the middle of the image. This is an effect I like, but it was less evident in the final image, which is OK.   Posted: 10/09/2021 20:55:14
