About the Image(s)
I set this dahlia up on my back deck using the trees as a background.
It was a perfect cloudy day. It was processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Another great dahlia image! The entire dahlia looks sharp from front to back with a beautiful gradation of colors. I also like the little bit of yellow peeking out of the magenta petals. I would not change a thing.   Posted: 10/02/2024 20:50:42

Thank you, David. I try to photograph dahlias when possible since these lovely blooms will be being fading soon.   Posted: 10/02/2024 21:56:05

Just a great shot. Great background that makes the flower come forward and gives the image great depth. When you can create that third dimension of depth to a two-dimension image it's a success. Nice composition with great lighting. Nice sharp image.   Posted: 10/04/2024 00:22:23

Hi Barbara, the colours in this Dahlia image are beautiful! The contrast makes the flower stand out wonderfully, and the level of detail and sharpness is fantastic. Well done!

Yes, I agree with all of the comments... The colors are right on, and the touch of yellow really adds to the photo. Good job.   Posted: 10/27/2024 00:02:26
