This image is rather pleasing in clarity and color, and I appreciate the inclusion of the flying bee to enhance the overall image. I do not mind that a few of the petals are a bit blurred as this adds to the realism of the image. The presentation through is a bit pedestrian with the face-on view of the flower with little evidence of how the bloom is connected to outside world.   Posted: 01/10/2022 14:45:26

Hi Barbara, A colorful image to cheer us in the dark days of winter. I like it. Interesting how the bit of green partially surrounds the bloom making for an appealing background. The two bee's add interest as well. I am interested in what others will comment on the missing stem. I have questioned that with some of my flower photographs.   Posted: 01/13/2022 15:19:01

Hi Barbara: I also have some flower pictures with out a stem showing, really think it depends on the particular flower and situation. Very colorful picture; the central portion of the flower seems very sharp, I think you could experiment with cropping in somewhat and make the central portion your main center of interest. It will take some experimentation to get your composition just right, but I think you can do this.   Posted: 01/15/2022 00:29:00
