This is a really pleasing image. There is a real simplicity associated with this image that is enhanced by your inclusion of the water drops. I am enjoying the subtle blends of color with the pinks, whites and yellows. The composition is also very effectively and really emphases the flow of the individual peals. The only this that strikes me though is that the entire image appears a bit soft. Now, not every image needs to absolutely tack sharp, but when I first opened this image was immediately disappointed that the center portions of the bloom was not as distinct as I expected and that the glitter of the drops was absent. There is a balance to strike here though, and a lot resides upon the preferences of the maker. I am looking forward to seeing more of your submissions.   Posted: 01/04/2022 19:34:51

Hi Phyllis: The soft light of the rainy condition the flower was photographed in really set the stage for the soft mood flower portrait I think you wanted to share with us. The light pink delicate flower petals with the golden yellow central portion are enhanced by the rain drops scattered around the picture. Placement of the golden central part of the flower is ideal in the lower left 1/3 power point area. Good job of seeing and excellent flower photography!! KUDOS.   Posted: 01/04/2022 23:04:10

Hi Priscilla,
The calming pale pink petals sprinkled with raindrops is lovely. The turned petal near the yellow center is a good accent. It is well exposed. Nicely done.   Posted: 01/07/2022 12:29:20

Hi Phiscilla,
Lovely flower with such a soft pink color. I like Murphy's comments. Lightening some of the whites and darkening some of the shadows might make the depth a bit more evident.   Posted: 01/07/2022 13:17:21
