Maker's Aims and Comments: On a rainy day last fall I noticed our Burning Bush had raindrops hanging from the bottom of the leaves, as it was just a slight mist went outdoors and looked closer. I found one branch with raindrops on the bottom of all of the leaves which I thought added a lot of interest to the red autumn leaves. There was no wind to deal with, very calm conditions.

Hi Murphy. A simple composition does produce impact. The bright red color against the dark background is striking. Plus the raindrops on each leaf is a little unusual but welcome. I like the diagonal line of the leaves on the branch. They almost increase in size as they progress upward.   Posted: 09/07/2021 14:20:34

Hi Murphy,
I agree with Priscilla that the vibrant red leaves against the dark green background is powerful. The raindrops add to the story. It is a very pleasing image.   Posted: 09/09/2021 12:53:34

Murphy, your image is striking with the diagonal branch of the bright red leaves, each with a perfect raindrop. The soft dark background is impactful.   Posted: 09/30/2021 21:28:52
