Portrait of a Dahlia by Ingrid Lockhart

November 2023 - Portrait of a Dahlia

About the Image(s)

This is another bloom from my September Dahlia bouquets. Again, it was taken against a white background with natural light. In post processing, I added the texture and border, eliminated imperfections on the flower, used Topaz Sharpening AI to refine the clarity and reduce noise. I'm wondering if I should change the hue of the border and signature stamp.

Another beautiful textured flower image! You really got the post-processing down to get a consistent look. I like this one even more than the one you submitted last month. I think the color of the frame and stamp are fine.   Posted: 11/06/2023 18:14:14

Another stunning image. I'm assuming you put your logo on a separate layer so it can be removed for competition. This is certainly competition worthy. As David says, you have the post processing down. Great job.   Posted: 11/21/2023 16:31:35

Thanks, Marti. Don't really have a competition opportunity for this image at this point, but I do plan on entering it in an art show next summer.   Posted: 11/24/2023 14:12:40

This is a striking image. I like the fact that you added a boarder which compliments the color tones of the flower. Very well done....   Posted: 11/22/2023 20:09:34
