Gloria, it is said that dogs are man's best friend, and you can attest this on this image. The dog is sitting nicely on his owner's lap, which is having some respiratory issues being on oxygen all the time even at rest (the doctor in me...) given by the plastic tubing in his nostrils. Location was given by his hat: Canada
The image is sharp. The colors are good in spite of the harsh light for the time of the day, the shadows on the ground.
Last but not least, peak of action given by the dog's tongue   Posted: 06/06/2022 07:23:08

Gloria - This is a smiler! Your timed this perfectly, catching the expressions on both the man and the dog (they both seem happy). Simple and straightforward image; framed well to focus the viewer's attention on the man and his dog. I think this man would have been pleased to have a copy of this photo. Good idea! I'll see if I can get a print copy and get it to him. I took about 17 shots with the lil dog actively up and down and yapping all the way. Great fun!   Posted: 06/18/2022 07:42:47
Gloria, nice photo but I personally have a strong preference to people subjects (and dogs) being situated off center. Maybe I have viewed too many family photo albums. Excellent color, exposure and subject focus.   Posted: 06/20/2022 15:09:25
