About the Image(s)
After many tries, Pizza Kitchen is the best shot I have taken of a chef tossing the pizza dough in the air. While there are improvements which could be made technically to the image, I think it provides an interesting story.

Les, great capture. Image is sharp. The whole frame is in context being everything related to pizza. You missed the artisan's whole face by a fraction of a second should you have been in burst mode, but just the one eye gives some drama to the image. It tells the story   Posted: 06/06/2022 07:17:18

Les - You definitely caught the impressive action of this guy and his dough. I wondered whether this should be cropped more but then decided that I like how you balanced your main subject with the busyness of the kitchen and the rest of the crew. Hopefully you sampled the pizza---looks like the crust would be nice and thin. B   Posted: 06/16/2022 14:24:40

Les, you caught the peak of action in this image. His hands and eye direct the viewer to the activity. Good story line. Wondering if you used a flash?   Posted: 06/18/2022 07:05:45
Les, I love pizza and now I'm hungry. A great capture with all of the elements of a great pizza. As Gloria asked the question about the flash. I too am curious if you used a flash. The underside of pizza dough is lit. That said I see no reflections on glass. Some stainless surfaces appear to have subtle reflections that may be coming from a flash. Please advise.   Posted: 06/20/2022 17:59:00
