Les, interesting image. I am sure that you had to make a quick decision as to where set up your vantage point. If you would have moved to the right of the boy to avoid the people in the background, you would have gotten the back of his head and miss the kiss. I am sure that if you would have gone instead to the left of the couple, would have included more of their faces but also there was the possibility that more people would be in the background. Oh well, this is a happy medium. It is sharp and it has nice colors.   Posted: 09/14/2021 21:40:07

An unusual selfie indeed. Beautiful light at sunset. Too bad for the peoples in the background, maybe crop away the far right person and certainely the pole on the top.   Posted: 09/15/2021 10:22:13

Les.. Nice depth of layers which suggest a foreground, middle ground and background; with each layer suggesting a different texture of leaves, sand and water. Like the side lighting on the right. Composition of the image is dead center, including the post of the fence.   Posted: 09/17/2021 05:23:14

You captured a wonderful moment (it must have been a split second) with golden hour light. The couple's pose against the foreground are geometrically interesting. Agree that the pole in the water could be cloned out easily. B   Posted: 09/17/2021 07:59:06

With Street Photography we often need to be quick and here you captured an intimate moment. Everything about the pic is warm and inviting as if I'm there, behind the lens and smiling at that precise moment. The person upper right can be blurred with Photo Shop and the buoy in upper background can be cloned out.   Posted: 09/27/2021 09:20:10
