Great shot. Sharp where it needs to be and the sparkles make a wonderful eye catcher   Posted: 10/02/2024 12:59:54

Pinaki, I think that the fireworks going on are overpowering the scene, being very distracting, and blocking the figure in the background which seems to be the main subject being photographed.   Posted: 10/03/2024 21:47:18

Interesting how differently the same things are seen so differently. I focused on the cameraman and the fireworks and the statue to me was just there.   Posted: 10/04/2024 00:48:00

Pinaki - While I like the action in the image of the photographer and the statue, I also find the fireworks to be a little distracting. My view of the image was fireworks first, then the statue and finally the man. This was a difficult image to shoot since any exposure for the fireworks would probably have robbed the other figures of the light needed to complete the image. B   Posted: 10/14/2024 14:32:04

Captures the moment well, ie: the lone person apparently taking a photo with his cell phone. the very bright area from the fireworks in the centre distracts from both the story i see and the figure which I believe represents King Ravana.   Posted: 10/16/2024 16:27:09

Pinaki-- When I look at this image I am puzzeled and distracted by the strange stick on the left that is a pair with the photographer on the right. What is it? Why is it there? Fireworks are always too bright but that is in their nature so I accept that. The mysterious face of Lord Rama through the smoke is effective. The figure of the photographer with his hat and suit jacket and phone is somewhat incongruous and wonderful.   Posted: 10/29/2024 21:53:11

Hi Pinaki: I apologize I had the title an name wrong for Lord Rama, my fault, as i looked it up then typed the wrong name. One of the interesting things with these sites is that in addition to photography how much more beyond that we can learn I was unable to open the link you sent as for some reason a message came up that the site was not available in my country, no idea why.   Posted: 10/30/2024 15:57:05
