The allium is in great focus and stands out nicely from the beautifully blurred background. The lighting and soft colors are lovely. I have no suggestions for improvement.   Posted: 05/08/2023 11:16:32

Very sharp flower with a great blurred background. I really like the muted colors in the background, it shows that the flower was taken in a garden. The slight bend in the stem adds some interest. I would not change a thing.   Posted: 05/13/2023 16:11:11
Great focus on the flower. I like the way you blurred the background as well. It looks like an abstract painting. If anything, I would get rid of that one little dead leaf on the bottom right.   Posted: 05/23/2023 09:04:36
Nice capture, Nelson. Sharp and colorful with great bokeh. I would be tempted to crop off some of the bottom to keep the viewers eye on the bloom.   Posted: 05/27/2023 17:03:41
The light is what I noticed first bringing out the many small details of the subject. I didn't realize all the colors until I zoomed in. I like the long stem and background although it pushes the subject too far into the upper corner. The soft sunlight coming from a high angle works well on both the highlights and shadows of the this giant.   Posted: 05/29/2023 21:37:49
