I use a mirror and prism to photograph a light split onto wood. A plain surface, plastics or cloth did not hold the true color as well as wood.

I love the experimentation. I am not sure what the round piece is that is casting the shadow, but I think that element works really well with the image. It lends to the abstract nature of the image.   Posted: 06/11/2021 12:17:05

Such an interesting an vibrant photograph. I don't know how you come up with these ideas, but I love looking at them. This one has wonderful details on the wood. I can't think of anything to improve it. Nice work!   Posted: 06/11/2021 14:29:26

Hi Andrew, I agree with you - I like that I can see the grain of the wood. It lifts the image. The other thing I really like is that you have provided a little intrigue and interest on the left - it's not only about the light, it's about light on a surface, in a context.   Posted: 06/16/2021 17:16:30
Hi Bob, After looking at your most creative image, I clicked on your bio. Expected to see a scientist interested in photography. Was disappointed in not seeing anything. I am always amazed at what you come up with. Very interesting and beautiful.   Posted: 06/17/2021 19:42:46

Great shot, I like the colors, and it's a good idea to come up with this.   Posted: 06/24/2021 15:31:51
