About the Image(s)

I have decided to try and create a realistic painting that could be printed and displayed. A lot of care was taken with the brush strokes and also added a bit more color.
It took a lot of work and I would like everyone’s opinion on whether I have succeeded in the final result. All the work was done in PS in layers and being a RAW large file to start with, I did the painting in a 300% view.

This is excellent! Good brush strokes.
I love the buffalo's look of resignation. The blue colour is great.
Suggestions: if you make the background a little darker it will help to separate it from the animals and give the image some more depth. The horns are so black in the original I might try, keeping the same hue, but reducing their luminosity a little.
Keep up the good work.

I too love this colorful image. The addition of the birds (3) was a nice touch and making it more painterly brought this image alive. I personally love the blue tones you used as this really makes it appear more as art to my eye.
I agree that having a bit more contrast between the head and background might bring more attention to the buffalo.   Posted: 01/15/2022 16:03:49

Yes, Yes, Yes....you have definitely succeeded! Great brush strokes and I, too, love the blue coloration you put into the buffalo. What an artistic result. I only have one personal suggestion: "think" about cloning out the bird under the horn. The bird does merge with the horn and perhaps by cloning it out, the horns would really stand out as unobstructed. I absolutely love this.   Posted: 01/16/2022 13:06:56
