About the Image(s)

It was early evening and while photographing kids at a playground, as part of a slide show project, I noticed this girl who was running and playing hard. She stopped to see who was chasing and I got this picture. Canon 5D Mkiii, ISO 1250, f/6.3, exp 1/200 sec, focal length 200mm. This was taken 11 years ago and I can’t find the process steps I applied.

I love the animated, and yet realistic, feel of your final result. It brought this image to life. (I wish we all knew what your process had been). I am totally drawn to this little girls face. I wouldn't change a thing.
Terry, congratulations also on your "Some Sound Bridge" image appearing in the June edition of the PSA Journal. It was an honor well deserved.

Cindy beat me to the punch: I also wanted to congratulate you on your bridge photo in PSA Journal! I recall shooting photos at that spot years ago, but yours did it proud.
This little gal is a real eye-catcher for sure, with her innocent curious look while playing. The smooth paint strokes enhanced her hair while faint splotches painterized the background perfectly. So, whatever you did, it worked!   Posted: 06/21/2021 13:52:02

Thank you for your kind comments on the Journal image. The administrator of the infrared group (#35), to which I also post, had apparently come to this group and looked at my paintings when she asked me submit an image for the Journal. She also set-up a webinar with her home camera club for me to talk my process through for them.
With regard to this girl's image I think the smooth skin makes those big dark eyes just pop.
