About the Image(s)

Here is a photo of an old Cadillac on a Saint Michaels Christmas parade. It was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV at 1/400 sec, f/4, ISO 250 at 70 mm.
I used PS to remove a distracting background, Topaz Studio for basic adjustments and Lightroom for additional minor adjustments.

This is a lovely image. The first thing that captures my attention are the 2 wheels that almost look like an "8" sideways. It adds so much to the image. I especially love the 2 buckles attached to the top wheel. It would be nice if there was a way to selectively tone down the chrome where the statue is because it looks a bit "hot/blown out". Other than that, this is a great image.   Posted: 01/13/2022 20:56:46

I too was drawn by the 'infinity' of the two wheels and would love to see a creative cropping of that area! Much to play with in this image and Pauline calls out one of the only things to possibly fix; the hot spots at the radiator. I do not have the PS skills to 'brush' yet, but perhaps that would be a technique that would work.   Posted: 01/19/2022 08:48:28

The rest of the car supports the yin and the yang of the two wheels. The fender and the flags are fitting end of the image. The bright chrome complements the color of the car, well done.   Posted: 01/23/2022 11:03:23

Great image, I'd agree I like the infinity symbol in the wheel design. My only wish is that the front hadn't been cropped off. I also agree with Pauline that the chrome hood ornament is a bit blow out so that could use some selective editing.

Why did you take this photo? I am wondering what resonated with you.   Posted: 01/23/2022 16:47:38

I liked the infinity symbol created by two tires. It was a fun Christmas parade.   Posted: 01/25/2022 15:23:31

With that standing out could crop in some of that top then really focus on the infinity symbol.   Posted: 01/25/2022 15:24:48
