About the Image(s)

In my butterfly garden at home, this butterfly was just emerging from its chrysalis.

Some cropping and slight increase to black point, brilliance, exposure, and brightness.

Cool capture being able to see them as they emerge before they fly away. My impression is you still could do some further editing as the photos feels flat and lacks impact at the moment. I brought your photo into Lightroom and tweaked it a bit to just enhance the details that are there.   Posted: 11/12/2021 10:13:04

Thanks, Matt. I use a different software on my computer, but I'll see what else I can do to enhance the details and I'll also import the image to the Lightroom my husband Randy has on his computer and see what I can do there.   Posted: 11/12/2021 10:44:26

WOW! how cool to be in the right place at the right time to capture this Marianne. Like Matt, my first thought is the butterfly looks a little flat and the slight adjustments Matt has done has made a big difference.   Posted: 11/14/2021 20:40:47

Definitely great that you caught it at just the right moment. The colors are quite good, and the image is sharp.   Posted: 11/15/2021 13:50:48

I can never catch a butterfly at that moment as hard as I have tried. A nice shot very sharp and clean.   Posted: 11/20/2021 17:10:55

Butterflies are so interesting because have mystery, symbolism and meaning and are a metaphor representing spiratual rebirth, transformation, change, hope, and life and you captured this creature beautifully at the right momemt.
This is a nice sharp image.
I find the background to be a little distracting and this can be darkened in Lightroom using the brush tool.
Nice work!   Posted: 11/21/2021 21:10:20
