Fun at the Pool by Alec Chester

September 2021 - Fun at the Pool

About the Image(s)

I took this photo just because it looked like fun. It was taken at 1/400 seconds, f/14, ISO 100 at 24 mm of a 24-105 lens from a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV camera. I enhanced it with minor adjustments in Lightroom and then used a generic Topaz Studio basic adjustment filter.

Love it and I laughed. Summer fun, don't we all need it. A lovely crisp and happy swan that's in your face immediately, but I still had to have a look around the background.   Posted: 09/19/2021 18:06:03

This fun swan really pops front and center, with the pool in the background filling in the rest of the story. Nicely done!   Posted: 09/20/2021 09:32:20

Love the angle and the way the pool leading lines are in he background. Perhaps straightening the back pool edge so that it doesn't seem to be tipping. The rest of it looks good. Can't to any better with that subject placement and filling the frame like you did.   Posted: 09/22/2021 22:13:25
