I love the pathway leading into the photo as a slight diagonal; the contrast to the foggy side and saturated side of the forest is pleasing to me; I find the colors on the trees and the fallen brown leaves tell the story that it must be a fall walk. The one distraction for me is the red tractor seat ---- red is a dominant color and keeps drawing my eye to it, unfortunately the items around it are the real distraction as I can not make it out and makes me feel a bit lost in that corner. I do want to take a walk on that path though!   Posted: 11/09/2023 10:36:21
Robbin, Would like to join you on that walk.   Posted: 11/17/2023 13:21:20
All great and helpful comments. However, i chose to include the red seat element specifically because it is such a contrasting electrifying element in this bucholic peaceful and timeless scene.   Posted: 11/17/2023 13:06:43
I like Tom's help in removing the seat: it helps emphasizing the calm and peacefulness - however, I understand your reasoning as the creator, too!   Posted: 11/19/2023 08:12:02
For me the red tractor seat is a distraction to the focus of serenity. May be that in this chaotic world I'm preferring calm vs "pop." The peace speaks to me.   Posted: 11/17/2023 13:19:41
red seat is kind of a distraction. would be perfect if a red movement on the pathway, such as a person or animal, especially in red color.   Posted: 11/26/2023 05:56:06
I think the tractor seat makes the picture much more interesting than a beautifully done scenic. I do think after the viewer (at least this viewer) has searched to see the tractor seat and absorb it, does follow the inviting path, just as Robbon says.   Posted: 11/26/2023 15:56:10
Lovely scene & why anyone would leave the tractor seat there is beyond me. I'd take it out but get why you didn't   Posted: 11/27/2023 03:43:37
