8-image focus stack of a store-bought mum. Replaced the background with black. Suggestions?

I find it stunning; color is beautiful, focus is throughout (as it should be with focus stacking - but a little too much for me, personally) and the black background works for me   Posted: 11/09/2023 10:19:49
So you think I should have had the back part of the flower a little soft?   Posted: 11/17/2023 12:22:03
No, I find this photo beatiful but photo stacking something I don't see me doing - but it is appreciated for those who do!

Agree with the black background. The intensity pops. Would like to see the image done with Robbin's suggestion.   Posted: 11/17/2023 12:52:19
Love the lighting on these petals. Wish the angle of view were slightly angled upwards to increase the sense of depth   Posted: 11/17/2023 13:08:27
sometimes, i fell i would like to see some softness toward the backside. sharp image from the front to the back of the flower may look a bit flat.   Posted: 11/26/2023 05:28:28
This is an abstract, well done. It is almost not recognizable as a flower. I think a busiser background and a softening of the back petals would not help the photograph   Posted: 11/26/2023 16:00:42
Could see this as a huge print in a public building. Nice work Tom   Posted: 11/27/2023 03:34:03
