These are a pair of Cheetah cubs close to two years old. Cheetah cubs stay with their mother until about two years of age. She cares for them but teaches them how to hunt. Taken in South Africa with a Nikon D800, 70-300 Nikon zoom. f8 Aperture priority handheld. Developed in On1 and Photoshop

Miriam fixed what my eye initially saw. The cats now pop as the focus of this image.

I totally agree with the crop. I also brightened their eyes a bit and darkened the grass some to help the cats pop more Posted: 05/26/2023 16:29:14
