Oh my that is very grand indeed! The lines of the escalator draw us right up and into the scene. The tints tones of brown and gray add depth too.   Posted: 01/12/2022 07:22:57

Great composition, Rohan! As Arabella said, the escalators work to draw the eye into the image. There's a sense of symmetry, while a nice contrast between the straight lines of the escalators with the curves that surround them. Shooting this ultra-wide was a great choice!   Posted: 01/17/2022 09:50:06

I really like all the geometry here, great contrasts of lines and curves. I see many additional shots within this one as well, closeups of various spots that without context would become abstracts of shapes. I'd probably remove the hand sanitizer station.   Posted: 01/17/2022 11:35:57
Thank you . This sanitizer station with emptiness will remind us of Covid situation after it gone .   Posted: 01/20/2022 21:02:31

Just to explore what Brenda suggests, I removed the sanitizer station and the janitor's cart in the background to the left.
I understand wanting to tell a certain story about the emptiness being a result of the pandemic, but I don't know if the sanitizer station actually conveys that. For the sake of movement of the image and the symmetry, I think its removal is perhaps appropriate. Personally, having lost a wife to the virus, I would rather not have any reminders.   Posted: 01/25/2022 09:31:49

Wonderful composition. I almost feel I am moving up on the escalator when watch the image. Very good feeling. Also, I am wondering what a person will see, if it is blurry at the end of the escalator? Will that make one confused, or curious about what is up there?   Posted: 01/21/2022 23:25:40

I think I understand what you're trying to convey, Brian. Can you post a redo to illustrate it?   Posted: 01/25/2022 09:33:05

Great composition and tells a story about the emptiness brought on by Covid 19. Brian's comment offers additional intrigue.   Posted: 01/24/2022 23:32:49

Such a well composed, technically perfect image. The emptiness off the scene coveys our moment in time beautifully.   Posted: 01/25/2022 06:37:13
