About the Image(s)

My husband and I took a short trip to the Oregon coast in November. We expected rain and boy, did we get it! But we had rain gear for ourselves and rain sleeves for the cameras, so that didn't stop us. It sure made for moody photos! This one, though, was taken at sunrise during one brief stretch of nice weather. I didn't do much to the image, I liked the soft feel from the fog and the pastel colors.

What a soothing image! Right place at the right time, for sure. The colors are gorgeous and the softness of the moisture. Great piece for the wall.

I did find it a bit noisy, which is not unusual for the lighting at that time of day. I took it into Topaz Denoise AI to subtly remove some of the noise. Thoughts?   Posted: 01/17/2022 11:09:32

My husband and I are both photographers and yet, we have a lot of empty walls in our house. Crazy, right? I think I will frame this one. We really enjoyed the trip, so it evokes happy memories.   Posted: 01/22/2022 10:10:47

The reason you probably don't have a lot of images on the walls is it would be too difficult to choose which of your masterpieces to put there. d;¬{D   Posted: 01/25/2022 09:38:36

Ha! I just haven't taken the time to process images for a lab. And I'm always a little uncertain how they'll turn out.   Posted: 01/25/2022 09:46:57

I love the moody, misty atmosphere. As Brian and Miriam suggested, frame and mount it on a wall. As mentioned, Tom removed the noise.   Posted: 01/24/2022 23:37:46
