Brian, Nice image with excellent detail on the bee. Not sure about the blur of the flower in the upper left. Suggest cropping a bit from the bottom of the image to focus on the subject.   Posted: 11/20/2021 22:04:17

Thanks Rusty. Yes, it is good idea to crop and remove upper left. The blur is due to outside of focus distance from macro shooting. The upper left causes distraction on the image. Here is the one after cropping. Thanks for the suggestion.   Posted: 11/21/2021 23:12:23

Yes, the upper left of the original was distracting. This is much better. I like the diagonal positioning. You could still crop a bit off the bottom. It wouldn't be square anymore, but I think it would be more dynamic.   Posted: 11/22/2021 09:35:28

Thanks Brenda. Here attached is the one with bottom trimmed. This brings one's focus immediately to the bee. Simple and straight. Original thought was on flower, with bee as a supportive factor. Now bee is the focal point:)   Posted: 11/23/2021 19:44:05

Welcome to the group, Brian. Your first image is amazing, especially with the first crop you tried at Rusty's suggestion.

You'll discover that I have a tendency to like to look at images from different angles. Here's a rendition with it flipped vertically, then horizontally:   Posted: 11/29/2021 21:46:55
