Super macro and everything is tack sharp but I'm not sure where you're guiding my eye. The centre of the flower for me is where the interest is but the whites in the petals keep pulling me away from it. Portrait crop?   Posted: 07/11/2021 04:28:46

Or square crop to emphasise the skew petals?   Posted: 07/11/2021 04:29:59

I think I understand what you're saying. I wonder if focusing so tightly on the skewed petals is the answer, though.   Posted: 07/15/2021 14:05:17

That's very interesting. Kinda tells the story of that petal sneaking in or passing by. Hmmm.   Posted: 07/15/2021 14:07:00

This definitely puts the focus on the errant petal and the flower center, although there's a tendency for the eye to drop out of the image at the bottom. Hmmm.   Posted: 07/15/2021 14:08:31

Looks to me like any way you slice this bread it is very tasty. Such a good image.

I definitely wouldn't have thought of all those variations--cool to see how different people think. It certainly helps to start with a great image.   Posted: 07/16/2021 20:47:05

Thanks, but where's your variation? Huh? d;¬{D   Posted: 07/16/2021 23:53:47

The original is interesting visually as are the variations. My favorite is the original.   Posted: 07/21/2021 19:36:43
