About the Image(s)
This image was taken in 2017 on my way to Crested Butte. CO. It was taken with my first mirrorless camera, a Sony ILCE 6000 with a kit lens Sony E 55-210. ISO 400, 1/250sec at f/11. Years ago I was using Lightroom as my photo processing program. I really don't know what processing I did on the image at that time.

This is a striking and pleasing image of textured layers of color, rich in vertical, diagonal and triangular compositional elements, in balance, and in imbalance. My eyes drift through the layers and come home to rest on that lone dark pine in the lower right. There are walls crying out for this image.   Posted: 10/08/2024 01:16:47

Beautiful image and I think your post processing did it justice. I again agree with Judith's comments. Nice work!   Posted: 10/08/2024 11:57:05

I think your color management in this image is very effective. It pops but is still realistic. The horizontal lines suggest a sense of peace to me, and the subtle diagonal of the yellow foliage draws my eye upwardbto the splash of orange. My only suggestion would be to add a slight dark vignette,   Posted: 10/16/2024 12:40:58

The white tree trunks of the aspens are so engaging. My eye travels across the lower tree ridge to the upper tree ridge. This is a lovely image with gorgeous colors. The only minor suggestion I have is to consider slightly darken the lower right corner.   Posted: 10/16/2024 16:45:53
