Love the shot Pam. I agree. When you get a great Sunrise or Sunset image it is something that warms the heart. This image has got to be one of your best. I have to drive for miles to get out of our suburban area and into a open area where you can see the sun go down. You sure had a great location. Very nice image. It makes me want to be there. I like the panoramic sweep of the scene. I also like the amount of wet beach sand you retained in the image. It's like a mirror. The stones and shells in the sand add interest. Nice colors, too.

A lovely scene. I like the fact that you were not afraid to include lots of foreground, The lines made by receding water pull the viewer into the scene and provide the interest that would be missing from a shot with a larger sun and less sand.

A very interesting photo. The large area it covers, the different colors, and the placement of the sunset makes for a scene that pulls in people to study this excellent image. The placement of the horizon and the sun and reflection give an extra dramatic push to the overall scene. There is much to look at in the foreground and the colors from warm to blue work well together.   Posted: 05/05/2023 14:13:30
