About the Image(s)
Was walking by this abandoned building one day last week when saw the Sandy Hook Lighthouse reflected in window. Was really hard getting photograph as had to hold camera phone in such a way so could shoot through a chain link fence. Processed in Snapseed.

Lynn. I love this image. It not only tells a story but the warning sign says it all.   Posted: 08/01/2022 08:12:13
The colors here are very, very nice and the weedy frame around the door frame perhaps emphasize the need to avoid trespass. The "story" Jerry suggests might well be a beach mystery. Each of us can probably write our own captions to a very suggestive image. Nice.   Posted: 08/02/2022 15:28:41
Lynn, this is really nice. One gets the feeling of being at the location. The bright reflection of the lighthouse explains more about the place. The blues and the greens are well-saturated, and the focus is spot-on. The "no trespassing" sign is small enough to not be a distraction. It was worth the fiddling to get the shot through the fence.

I like that the door seems to be leaning left. That's consistent with the old wood and peeling paint, The lighthouse image adds interest and some depth. Interesting shot.   Posted: 08/04/2022 17:22:42
Good job in photographing the minor details in this scene. There are several items that work well together. The title "Lighthouse Reflection" is perfect for this image. Good eye in capturing this image. This photo will definitely draw in people to view this scene you captured. Good job.   Posted: 08/05/2022 20:50:38
I really like this Lynne. A real sense of abandonment in the building and I like how the lighthouse is reflected differently in the two windows. Your extra effort paid off, well done.   Posted: 08/05/2022 21:42:16
Thanks for all your comments and perspectives. Hope everyone getting cooler weather. Heat wave brutal especially for growing veggies, herbs, container plants, everything. Need rain as water restrictions and drought causing drooping large , thirsty flowering hydrangea bushes.   Posted: 08/11/2022 11:52:09
