About the Image(s)
1. Original with too many distractions.
2. Edited version.
I used Jixipix pix’s HDR app to help fill in distractions and used Snapseed’s spot healing tool and Touch/Retouch to clone in other parts. Snapseed’s brush tool to brighten the stepping stones and finally Image Blender to add my water mark.
Original was shot in the Chicago Garfield Park Conservatory Building. The largest public Conservatory in the USA.
My goal with editing was to add a little mystery to the image. Comments welcome.

You met your goal of adding mystery to the image. The darker image invites people into the screen. Well done.

Getting rid of the path on the right creates better focus on the path you liked. Everything else supported that. It does now look mysterious! Now all you need to do is write a mystery novel and use this as the cover.   Posted: 06/06/2022 09:14:48
Your efforts in improving the image worked well. The viewer's eyes are drawn into the image and down the path. One wonders what is beyond the end of the path. I'd want to investigate. Looks like it's a good place to visit. Nice shot.

I love your edited image. The colors and textures are very inviting. I want to walk down that path. For me the large watermark is a distraction. I think if it was smaller my eye would stay in the image and not be pulled over to the watermark.   Posted: 06/11/2022 17:15:50
You did an exceptional job of adding mystery to an already intriguing image of stepping stones luring the viewer to follow the path. Really good composition and creative editing.   Posted: 06/13/2022 12:23:49
There is certainly mystery to the image so it works for me. Where does that almost evil looking path take one to? The path in in the right place in the frame and ends in the right place. It's also highlighted just right.   Posted: 06/19/2022 16:16:01
