About the Image(s)

Captured this image in the Eagle River, Wisconsin area. While on a side road I noticed this one tree left with it's fall colors. In a snow storm, used an Iphone 13 Pro camera with a 16:9 format. Using the Snapseed app Tune Image tool I darkened the image, added contrast, and with the Selection tool, I brightened the fall colors still on this one tree. Many people viewing this photo thought the tree was actually on fire. Not the case here, it's just one tree that was left with the fall colors.

Great shot Dave. The tree does look like it is on fire and the contrast with the snow is enhanced with your processing to great effect.

Love the capture of the falling show. Yes your image editing is outstanding. Love the lonely Tree with colors still hanging in there. Jerry   Posted: 12/03/2021 15:46:24

The original image is well composed with the dark roadway leading into the frame. The falling snow is good, too. It really sets the scene. Your edits add that touch of interest and color that draw my eyes inward. Nicely done.

Nature is amazing and only a photographer would notice the tree hanging on to the last signs of fall. Very nice composition with the road leading the eye into the frame and to the tree. A bright light in a snow storm. Nice catch.   Posted: 12/11/2021 20:40:05

This would make a marvelous holiday card as the radiant orangish red foliage tree seems to be be a ray of hope in the dark landscape. Capturing the heavy snowfall makes the photograph even more impressive. I would definitely print and hang this photograph on the wall. It's really special.   Posted: 12/12/2021 17:09:55

It's such a stark contrast between the "flame" and the rest of the image that it really gets your attention. Good eye on your part to see it and then process to bring it all out.   Posted: 12/18/2021 17:34:56
