Jerry, you are great at creating photographic masterpieces. There are so many different, spooky, components with different shades of color and texture, the eye is kept busy. Good "scary" photo Jerry.   Posted: 11/07/2021 15:23:48

Those folks really put up a great Halloween display. I'm sure it was enjoyed by all visitors. That Night Mode works well for situations like this. Great stuff. Makes me smile.

I really like this image. It captures the feeling and reality of the event.
That said, I could use the comments of the group on the issue of "borrowed" art. Would this image be DQed in competition in your club? I am working on this issue for clubs in my area. PSA is virtually silent on the issue.   Posted: 11/08/2021 15:42:43

I do not know because it actually is probably not considered art or folk art. So many get hung up on feathers, fur and flowers. Photography is more than that.

Copying a painting or another photo to me is a no no! Use my photo if you want and share with your club and see what the response is. I am curious. Jerry   Posted: 11/09/2021 08:45:53

That is one spooky house and bet it scares the littlest trick or treaters. The hand coming out of the black pot would keep me away from getting to close to this scene. Good composition in capturing creepy scene juxtaposed against stairs leading trick or treaters, if they dare, to go up and ring doorbell. I wouldn't.   Posted: 11/12/2021 07:04:17

It's interesting to me how well the phone recreated the colors of the display and still held on to the colors of the real world off to the left. That dividing line helped make clear what we were looking at. The detail in the macabre is impressive.   Posted: 11/13/2021 06:46:00

Great use of the night mode Jerry. You are always out there trying something new. The phone cameras have really improved over the years. It makes me wonder what they will be able to do in the next few years.   Posted: 11/13/2021 09:57:19
