About the Image(s)

We got our 2 vaccines and can finally get out and about and its reassuring to find that the Jersey Shore is still here and retaining all its charm. Taken this week from deck of Bahr's restaurant , Highlands, where we had seafood lunch. Processed in Snapseed.

Nice scene. Could you clone that bird on the right edge and put it just to the left of the shack, between the posts? The eye would love to see it there.Horizon could be straightened.   Posted: 05/04/2021 16:08:29

This swan also cruised by. I think just capturing the gull is symbolic of the fleeting moments of my new pandemic reality although you're right would be better photograph if I moved him or her.   Posted: 05/05/2021 08:44:35

Love everything about this image. Beautiful sky, wonderful colors and catching the swan was perfect timing of your snap. What a great setting for a Spring lunch. A place to go back.

Your swan, yes, Touch/Retouch Clone to for placement on the sky on the left and they clone out the old location. Could be kind of tricky but I think it could be done. Jerry   Posted: 05/05/2021 11:01:58

The fact that the gull is leaving the scene adds to your 'fleeting moments" symbolism. The fact that there are only two barely visible people in the image is also a reminder of the strange times. This image would make a great jigsaw puzzle.   Posted: 05/05/2021 11:16:52

Overall a really neat image. Boat docks typically have a busy look. You did a good job in capturing the busy area. I have tried of and on to capture scenes like this, but didn't have much luck. Good job in catching the gull just before it flew off. This image says "Let's go boating".   Posted: 05/07/2021 07:39:32

I like the saturated colors in this scene. Sort of representative of a happier time than we have been in for the last year or so. Nice angles, too. The bird is great. If it were more centered, then it might become too important in the scene. As it is, it just adds a little sense of motion. Just my thoughts.

A very nice nautical image. The gull could not have been in a better position. I agree that the horizon needs a little straightening. It looks like a wonderful place to have lunch and watch the activity of the harbor.   Posted: 05/09/2021 16:03:05
