About the Image(s)
Ducks in a pond is created with the Fujifilm XPro3 coupled with a 50mm lens, ISO 1250, f/7.1 auto, 1/2500, processed in Luminar Neo software. Watching them swim around the small lake is interesting. Cloudy day.

Chuck, nice composition as the tree branches and the boulders frame the subject. The whirls in the water stand out as well. I took your original into silver efex pro and brought out tried to bring out the ducks more and take down the highlights of the rock on the right. Let me know what you think.   Posted: 05/05/2023 17:35:04
Yep, I like what you have done to make it better.   Posted: 05/07/2023 14:17:18
Very nice framing in this photo. It makes for a nice composition. I do wish the ducks were a ittle more promient in the frame, though. Like mary Ann, I love the circular movement in the water.   Posted: 05/07/2023 13:48:46
Thought about cropping to make duckies stand out, then did not as I liked the rocks leading your eye into the picture while telling more of a story. Many thanks.   Posted: 05/07/2023 14:19:47
Chuck, I don't have a lot to add to what Mary Ann and Cindy have said. I can see why you would not want to crop in much closer, as the branches and rocks add to the image. I prefer the monochrome version of this image but would like to see a little more detail in the dark feathers.   Posted: 05/11/2023 21:14:46
I like what silver efex added.   Posted: 05/12/2023 15:18:14
I like the photo. Wish the ducks were a little brighter. A little work selecting the ducks to brighten and selecting the water to darken. The 2 rocks help take you right into the photo.   Posted: 05/14/2023 11:56:12
