About the Image(s)

This close up was taking a few of years ago at Fisherman's Wharf, in Victoria (where I live). The original colour image, as you can see, was cropped and rotated and (in keeping with suggestions about how most people's eyes enter the frame) flipped horizontally. Shot with my Fujifilm X-T10. 36 mm, 1/640 sec at f/11. ISO 200. BW conversion done in LR and with Nik Silver Efex Pro.

This photo is all about textures and you have handled it well. Technically, for me, this is perfect. Beautiful details and contrast. Love it - I wouldn't change a thing.   Posted: 07/08/2021 21:53:23

Agree with Cindy and Jeff. The rotation was right on.   Posted: 07/14/2021 09:50:33

I truly enjoy the textures brought out in your monochrome photo. I also like the dirt, grime and rust in the color photo and think the same editing choices would be great. Beautiful.   Posted: 07/16/2021 13:04:08

A beautiful image with perfecti exposure, tonality and compostion. Flipping it made it better. Print it square and in a black frame for a wall. It is competition ready in my opinion.   Posted: 07/16/2021 18:39:12
