About the Image(s)

Another zoo photo; this time a Ring Tail Lemur. I raised the ISO to 3600 so as to not use a flash for this inside shot. I really liked his pose and the contrast of his light and dark fur. I added a texture layer to the background to help the Lemur stand out more and to avoid the distractions behind him in his cage. I have included the color version to see which you like better.

Sure nothing wrong with ISO 3600. Nice capture with excellent timing. His inquisitive personality is showing. Im torn between the color and mono versions as both are terrific.   Posted: 06/13/2021 14:20:31

I like the mono version and I do like the textured background that you chose. Nice timing on getting the posed position the way you have done. I would not change anything.   Posted: 06/13/2021 15:19:55

Another beautiful zoo capture, Cindy. Although the colour version of this lemur is compelling, I prefer the BW for its fine art qualities. I love the light on the animal and on the background texture. His pose, his facial expression and a lovely well-balanced composition make this an outstanding image!   Posted: 06/15/2021 18:35:15

Nicely done. I like the background texture as it doesn't take my attention away from the lemur. I like both images with a slight preference for the color image.   Posted: 06/29/2021 14:50:57
