About the Image(s)

I took this image while traveling in Peru. The pots were in a hotel lobby. I loved the blend of vibrant colors and the arrangement of the yarn in the pots. Is the softness of the knitting needles too soft?

Settings: Canon 7D MarkII, 1/50sec, f5.0, ISO 800, I processed the image in LRC, as well as in Topaz Denoise and Topaz Sharpen.

I really like this image; it caught my eye right away. I like the contrast of the subject to the background; I like the simplicity of the composition. I did not notice softness of the needles until you pointed it out. Well done!   Posted: 09/09/2021 12:31:02

Thanks, Alan. Like you I really liked the different colors and was hoping I got tack sharp all that needed to be tack sharp.   Posted: 09/16/2021 16:23:39

Love the colors and the warmth of the image. The composition of the orange wall against the the jumbled yarns in pots gave me both a sense or refinement and earthy - stillness - movement -- all in one. I know I may not be coherent but this image makes me feel -- not talk. Well done.   Posted: 09/30/2021 18:46:49
