About the Image(s)

I took this image in Death Valley this past March during a Jennifer King workshop. Used a Canon Mark IV, settings 1/80, f/14, focal length = 560mm ISO 200. This was taken in the morning. Dunes were probably ½ mile away. I cropped it and did nothing else. Let me know your ideas for postprocessing this image

I'm a huge fan of Jennifer king! This is a beautiful image. Love how the curves lead you through the image and the lighting is terrific!

Suggestions for improvement. Covert to b&w. Crop about 1/10 off the top edge. There is a smal blemish in the sand on the left edge about 1/4 of the way from the left corner. This can easily be removed in lr or ps.   Posted: 05/11/2021 12:06:29

I agree with David - this would make a great monochrome!   Posted: 05/17/2021 12:22:42

Sand dunes make great photo ops. This is a nice representation of what can be achieved. B&W would surely be one way to process the shot, I would be tempted to increase the contrast a little in color or B&W.
This shot has a sort of abstract feel to it because there isn't anything to indicate the scale. I thinks this leaves open more choices in how you process it.   Posted: 05/21/2021 17:12:53
