Hi Bev,
I wonder if you were the person who shared a similar effect some months ago? If so I would love to give you the credit.
Take a peek at my image in DD18.   Posted: 05/02/2021 11:26:05

No, I wasn't I do remember that one though because I asked the maker at the time what the process was. I actually saw a webinar produced by Lynn Mass, a member of the Art of Photography meet-up group that I joined. Check it out, they meet every Saturday and Sunday morning and have some interesting stuff going online - It's free - Google meet-up the art of photography and you should be able to find it easily. This is a tough choice for me. I love the beautiful colors and the effect of the swirl. It almost looks like a piece of blown glass art. It's a lovely effect. The tough choice is that I love the original photo as well, with the beautiful detail of the flower and the water droplets.   Posted: 05/03/2021 10:34:07

I, too, loved the original flower but was experimenting after seeing the webinar to see what I could create with lots of color.   Posted: 05/03/2021 11:05:22

Very interesting to see what you have done here Bev. We have a Creative Set Subject coming up at our club so I have been experimenting with mandalas etc. Creative isn't something that comes naturally to me so I love seeing what others are doing. The colours in the final image are lovely.   Posted: 05/05/2021 06:03:18

I love this image too and did a similar thing with columbines many years ago using instructions from someone whom I now can't remember nor can I remember how to do it. Thanks for the instructions - maybe I won't lose this set.   Posted: 05/05/2021 07:57:34

Just went to find it to send and can't so I'll email the gal I got the original notes from and ask for another copy. If I don't get it in a day or so, I'll recreate and send it to you. I really want hers as she has some very interesting stuff in there re compositing as well.   Posted: 05/05/2021 22:11:40

I like it! It's bright, glossy and shows great circular motion. Good job.   Posted: 05/05/2021 21:53:27

Bev, it reminded me of one of those large colorful lollipops!

fun use of the post processing tools. I have been using similar ones to create this - from the original of the interior of a church.   Posted: 05/07/2021 21:33:57
