About the Image(s)
An eagle pair landed on this nesting station. One took off, so I waited and waited knowing that the other would follow. It spent about 15 minutes preening before it took off.
I was using Procapture to make sure that I did not miss it and to make sure that I got the entire light off sequence, but I liked this wing position best.
Taken with the 150-500mm lens at 400mm. 1/8000 f5.6
Cropped and edited in ACR.

Excellent capture Lisa, tack sharp and the reversal and crop are perfect. Also like the cloudless sky. Super!   Posted: 11/11/2023 18:52:27
Beautiful capture. Great detail. Well done.   Posted: 11/12/2023 19:31:28
Very Nice shot of Mr. Eagle. I like that you flipped the image. We read left to right so that is the direction in which our eyes view everything. He is flying at us, and we are looking at him. If you had not flipped it, we would be catching up to him and viewing his posterior body parts first. Great image.

Hi Lisa, excellent capture of this flying eagle. The image is sharp and flipping has improve the overall result even more. My only suggestion is about the sky tonality,I find it a little dark and grey, perhaps you can play with the blue tones to achieve a more beautiful tonality. Great image.   Posted: 11/15/2023 22:35:40
Lisa, this is a great picture of the eagle, certainly worth the wait! The position of the wings show how beautiful the feathers are plus he is tack sharp. I love this!   Posted: 11/26/2023 08:38:55
