About the Image(s)

During an autumn outing to downtown Toronto, I was in the skywalk that leads from Union Station towards the Rogers Centre baseball stadium, when I noticed the CN Tower was visible through the skylights. I tried several different compositions, bracketing shots at the usual 2 stop intervals, and chose this one. I processed it in Aurora HDR 2019, choosing the "Vivid" preset to enhance the colors slightly. As the initial result made the CN Tower too light, I brought it into Photoshop layered with one of the originals, which I darkened with a curves adjustment layer. I masked out most of the segments of the tower to bring through the darker version, and cropped out the wall area at the bottom. Happy New Year, everyone!

Don you have two images here that I think are super. Your finished project and the original with nothing done. The finished project is very interesting and the original accentuates the tower. Wish I could say change or tweak a part of the finished project but I think it is excellent!   Posted: 01/10/2022 07:10:50
