About the Image(s)

Jackson's Mill in Bedford County, PA, that I took in the spring of 2014. Bedford County is well known for its covered bridges, but there are other interesting artifacts from bygone days that are great camera targets. I shot the usual brackets and processed them in Nik HDR Efex Pro using a preset that brought out the grungy details of this old mill. Back in Lightroom, I straightened the structure but then had to take it into Photoshop to do a content aware fill of a few areas around the corners that were blank after straightening. Enjoy! If everyone wishes, I can show a few covered bridges in the months to come.

Don, I really like taking photos of "Old Building". You did a nice job of pulling together the photos and bringing out the important points, Texure of the building and the color. Your sky is just right. I like the point of view you took as it brings out the age of the building. Question is the building still being used?   Posted: 09/07/2021 15:07:31
