The wind behind by Lisa Cuchara

October 2024 - The wind behind

About the Image(s)

Taken handheld @1200mm FFEQ using the OM1 mark ii camera and the 150-600mm lens. f 6.3 1/1250 sec ISO 1000. Just a slight crop from SOOC.

I just loved the reflection and the ripples in the water, and when the wind blew its tail feathers up it was icing on the cake.

Hi Lisa, I apologize for the delay in my comments this month. Moving from Australia to Spain is a big job, and it hasn't left me enough time to sit and enjoy your images.

I really enjoy the light illuminating the egret and the nice reflection on the water. However, I find that the centered composition feels a bit static. I suggest experimenting with different crops, placing the egret on the left side.

Lisa, this is a nice picture of an egret. I added a little more contrast on the bird and cropped the left side. Using ai generative fill, I add more space on the top and also the right side.   Posted: 10/30/2024 15:32:11
