Sylvia,
I love the diversity of the Herons. Both large and small. Great image with the Green Heron framed perfectly with the flora. They are patient and expert fishermen.   Posted: 10/10/2024 18:22:54

Thank you, Ted, I think the coloring of a Green Heron is so interesting. I was not that far away from him and was happy he stood still so I could to get his picture.   Posted: 10/30/2024 15:46:29

Sylvia, love this image! The slight turn of the head, great eye, super sharpness, the whole foreground and background and the Green Heron caught perfectly between the reeds. Wouldn't change anything.   Posted: 10/13/2024 18:53:01

Wow! what a capture. Very sharp image. Well composed. The Heron is well framed by the reeds. I might have cropped it more since the Heron is so well defined. Really like it.   Posted: 10/23/2024 13:59:48

Lisa, thank you for editing this, I can see such a difference. Think I'll also add some contrast to the water. This picture is hanging in our house, now I'm planning to replace it using your suggestions!   Posted: 10/30/2024 15:58:28

Hi Silvia, you have captured this heron in the perfect spot. the vegetation frames it without any interference, while also introducing context about the bird and its environment. Great capture!
