Sylvia Bacon
Photography has been a favorite hobby for many years. I am still active in a photography club now, going on fifteen years and have tried to learn all I can about how to present better pictures. I shoot mostly in Raw and enjoy the post editing process because that is when I can be more creative since I view photography as an art.
Am an Adobe Bridge/Photoshop lady and occasionally use Topaz and Nik software for editing to satisfy my need to be visually creative. I have Nikon digital cameras, a Sony HX-400v, Fuji Film X-T3 and iPhone 11 Pro Max camera.
My home is on Kiawah Island in SC where there is an abundance of wildlife and many photography opportunities; flowers, animals, birds, nature, landscape scenes. My husband and I have also traveled a lot plus we spend our summers in the southern part of Maine by the coast. Needless to say, I always try to keep a camera with me!
For the past year and a half I have participated in a weekly photography blog called “Lens-Artist Photo Challengeâ€, along with hundreds of other participants all over the world. By the way, this group is open to anyone who would like to join and if interested, my blog website is www.mycolorfulexpressions.com.
