I was attending an International conference held in Suzhou, China on October. After the conference, I went to visit the country side. Chaguan Village is a little-known village in Wuyuan. There is an ancient bridge called "Jiujiu Bridge" at the water outlet of the village. The Jiujiu Bridge is about 42 meters long, 6 meters wide, 7 meters high inside and 14 meters across. Ancient trees stand towering in the sky. These ancient trees are all planted around a single-hole stone arch bridge.
When I see images of ancient bridges, trees, farmer and cow across the bridge, I was moved by the tranquility and beauty of this scene. My Nikon-D810 was hand held with f/4,1/125 second and ISO 250.processing was done in Viveza 3 and cropped in PhotoShop.

This is such a lovely and timeless scene! Something you might have seen hundreds of years ago. I only wish I could have been there. My only suggestion would be in increase the exposure just a tad and, maybe, add some contrast. A beautiful image!   Posted: 11/02/2023 00:14:33

Love the scene and the composition very much. I took it into Camera Raw and lightened it, added some saturation and reduced the noise just a bit.   Posted: 11/08/2023 16:36:12

This is a very enjoyable scene and it is well spotted, particularly with the animal being lead over the bridge. I like Cindy's interpretation because the original looks a bit over-sharpened.   Posted: 11/09/2023 16:45:18

Distractions: 1. Structures on the horizon, 2. Branches around the person. Otherwise, a charming image.   Posted: 11/20/2023 04:12:09

Wonderful scene. I would have liked it better with the person not obscured by the branches. I really like Cindy's edits because it brings out the blue of the sky and the green leaves on the tree. Nice composition!   Posted: 11/26/2023 18:42:48
