I wanted to capture the sun within the hatch pattern of the pier structure. I like the light on the
waves. This image was taken in 2011.

You captured a lovely sunrise with a well-composed image. I like how the interesting cross-hatch pattern of the pier fills in the plain sky; and, how the sun is right in the middle of a trapezoidal space with its reflection below. The offset sun and horizon line keeps the composition keeps the composition dynamic.   Posted: 06/06/2022 13:35:02

love the capture! well timed for the light and pattern.
Though the lower left corner doesn't bother me, but crop out the left corner, left & bottom, kind of show a stronger, tighter image.   Posted: 06/07/2022 19:24:33

I like the shapes of the pier supports, the position and reflection of the sun and the action of the waves. I think the dark area bottom left could be improved with a bit of cloning from the surrounding area because to crop out the left side would unbalance the image.   Posted: 06/12/2022 16:51:01

This image is very thoughtfully composed with the sun nicely framed. Everything is handled so well and the reflection on the waves is lovely. The only thing I would change is to get rid of the dark left corner either by cropping or cloning. Nicley done!   Posted: 06/15/2022 06:44:56
