About the Image(s)
I saw this barn on the side of the highway and stopped to take a photo. It was during the golden hour just before sunset and I liked the lighting. I have been trying to get myself to take photo of the whole scene and not just zero in on the main subject. I lightened the image and brought out the details. Settings: f/11, 1/100, ISO 200 and 240 mm focal length.

This is a great rural scene. You have caught the evening light beautifully. There is interest all over this picture, in the sky and on the ground. I think I would have lightened the shadow in the foreground because it is rather dominant in the shot but a very enjoyable scene nonetheless.   Posted: 06/01/2022 03:43:46
The low morning (or evening) light in this image really makes the scene come alive and adds to the character of the dilapidated barn and small shed. You were also fortunate to have such a beautiful sky. I don't mind the shadow in the foreground as it frames the barn and makes you wonder what is casting such a long shadow...a silo? A very nice image!   Posted: 06/05/2022 07:51:32

Sometimes the low angle light on a scene is just what is needed. It's a lovely scene: the dilapidated barn and the tilted wood shed. I like how you included the tops of the trees and the sky is full of nice clouds. I like everything about the image!   Posted: 06/11/2022 23:59:26
The composition seems to work even though the barn is in the center of the image. Good lighting. Dupo? Town? Name of owner?   Posted: 06/24/2022 21:30:47
Thank you. The barn is in Dupo, IL.   Posted: 06/26/2022 21:30:44
A beautiful landscape image. I like the very sharp image of the old house and trees. The cloud formation in the sky is also processed well.   Posted: 06/30/2022 09:46:04
